Regular Season Round 20: Raanana - Holon 70-84

Very expected game when 10th ranked Raanana (3-15) was defeated at home by third ranked Holon (12-6) 84-70 on Friday. Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Raanana's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: SDSU) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists. The other American import swingman Sequoia Holmes (183-86, college: UNLV) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Holon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Kaela Davis (188-95, college: S.Carolina) who recorded a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and international guard Yarden Garzon (186-3) added 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Holon moved-up to second place, which they share with Ashdod. Raanana lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
