An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Dubrovnik. First ranked Ragusa faced 4th placed Mursa. Host Ragusa (7-1) smashed guests from Osijek (4-5) 84-53. Ragusa dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Mursa's 26. Ragusa forced 20 Mursa turnovers and outrebounded them 47-27 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Mursa's players. It was a good game for power forward Ana Vrsaljko (188-84) who led her team to a victory with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Iva Todoric (174-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Swingman Magdalena Mihaljevic (176-3) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Bosnian center Marta Rimac (183-2) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Mursa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-1 record. Newly promoted Mursa keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Ragusa will play against Sibenik (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mursa will play against Tresnjevka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
