No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Torrent (4-13) edged on the road 9th ranked Ontinent (1-13) 66-64 on Sunday. Torrent forced 20 Ontinent turnovers. Point guard Pablo Murcia (179) scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward David Calero (193-99) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Matias Boho (195-96) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Alberto Aleman (178-98) scored 18 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Torrent maintains seventh position in Group E-Descen with 4-13 record. Ontinent lost third consecutive game. Ontinent at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Torrent will face Carolinas (#10) in La Carolina in the next round.
