We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked JyWe (11-14) lost to eleventh ranked Raholan P. (12-14) in Tampere 68-79. It looked good early as JyWe took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Raholan P. had a 23-11 second period charge getting the lead and JyWe was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-79. Raholan P. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to JyWe's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Olli Kanerva (198-96) who scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Eino Kandelin (183-0) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Raholan P.'s coach Juho Jaakkola used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Kosti Naukkarinen (186-83) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Panu Blomgren (198-4) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Raholan P. moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ura Basket II. JyWe at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
