Bottom-ranked Maccabi Haifa managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses. This time they won against tenth-ranked Bnei Hasharon 89-79. Maccabi Haifa players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for international Roman Sorkin (209-96, college: Oregon) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Michael Cobbins (203-92, college: OK State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American guard Max Heidegger (191-97, college: UCSB) answered with 24 points and the other American import power forward Terell Parks (205-91, college: W.Illinois, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Maccabi Haifa (4-16) moved-up to twelfth place. Bnei Hasharon lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Maccabi Haifa's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Haifa to the arena H.Haifa.
