An interesting game for Ashdod (14-6) which hosted in Ashdod 4th ranked Maccabi Ramat Gan (10-10). Second ranked Ashdod managed to get a 11-point victory 65-54. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi Ramat Gan. Ashdod forced 19 Maccabi Ramat Gan turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import point guard Alexis Peterson (173-95, college: Syracuse) who added 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. International guard Eden Rotberg (170-98) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and international Lev Tal (179-97) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Ashdod maintains second position with 14-6 record having four points less than leader Ramla. Defending champion Maccabi Ramat Gan keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with M.Haifa.
