No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Marbella (12-11) beat at home 8th ranked Zamorano (10-14) 67-62 on Saturday. Strangely Zamorano outrebounded Marbella 47-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Zamorano was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St., agency: Promo Sport ID) who led his team to a victory with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Devin Wright (202-86) contributed with 9 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Marbella's coach Rafa Pina used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Sergi Costa (188-96) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American-Italian point guard Anthony Libroia (180-94, college: Adelphi) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Zamorano. Marbella maintains sixth position in Silver with 12-11 record. Loser Zamorano dropped to the tenth place with 14 games lost. Marbella will face higher ranked Ponferrada (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zamorano will play against Zentro Basket (#7) and hope to win that game.
