Very important is a road loss of third ranked H.Galilee (13-7) against twelfth ranked H.Acre (7-13) on Saturday night. Visiting H.Galilee was edged by H.Acre in a tough game in Acre 98-101. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of H.Galilee. H.Acre players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Emmitt Williams (198-98, college: LSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import JR Holder (198-94, college: Jacksonville) helped adding 27 points and 6 rebounds. H.Acre's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Jamaican-American power forward Adrian Uter (201-84, college: Hofstra, agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and naturalized Romanian guard Omer Tal (190-92, agency: Avi Zilberman) scored 28 points and 8 assists. Four H.Galilee players scored in double figures. Newly promoted H.Acre maintains twelfth place with 7-13 record. H.Galilee at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. H.Acre will play against league's leader Ironi Ashkelon at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. H.Galilee will play against Maccabi Raanana and hopes to get back on the winning track.
