An interesting game for FC Barcelona 2 (19-4) which hosted in Barcelona 4th ranked Albacete (15-8). First ranked FC Barcelona 2 had an easy win 106-74. FC Barcelona 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Albacete's 28. They outrebounded Albacete 43-22 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. FC Barcelona 2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Albacete's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Ibou Badji (218-2) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Didac Cuevas (175-0) who added 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four FC Barcelona 2 players scored in double figures. FC Barcelona 2's coach Mateo Rubio felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Jorge Mejias-Sanchez (188-1, college: TAMIU, agency: Interperformances) with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Alejandro Jorda (193-95, college: Cuesta JC) scored 17 points. FC Barcelona 2 maintains first position in Silver with 19-4 record. Albacete at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. FC Barcelona 2 will play against L'Hospitalet (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Albacete will play against Pardinyes-L.
