Regular Season Round 25: Alcobendas - Carbajosa 62-76

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Alcobendas (5-18) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Carbajosa (11-14) 76-62 on Wednesday. It was a great shooting night for Carbajosa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Forward Diego Alderete (202-0) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and American swingman Bakary Camara (201-98, college: Bridgeport) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Carbajosa players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward David Marina (202-88) responded with 15 points and forward Jorge Parra (192-98) scored 8 points and 5 assists. Alcobendas' coach Jose Antonio Ramirez gave the chance to play for twelve players and allowed the starting five to rest. Carbajosa moved-up to eighth place in Silver. Alcobendas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Carbajosa will face Algeciras (#11) at home in the next round. Alcobendas will play against Marbella and hope to win that game.
