Herlev fired past Horsholm to ensure the first win in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Herlev. Horsholm managed to win second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsholm to just 2 points in first quarter. International forward Laura Ziegler (186-2) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and international forward Emilie Hesseldal (186-90, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side international forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and international forward Anne Pedersen (182-92, college: LSU) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Horsholm's coach Jesper Rasmussen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
