An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jerusalem. First ranked Maccabi T-A faced 4th ranked Hapoel Jerusalem. Guests from Tel-Aviv (18-3) smashed host Hapoel Jerusalem (13-9) 100-76. Maccabi T-A made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American-Turkish guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-93, college: Florida, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 5 assists. Croatian center Ante Zizic (209-97, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Maccabi T-A's coach Giannis Sfairopoulos felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Tamir Blatt (184-97) replied with 15 points and 9 assists and American point guard Ray McCallum (190-91, college: Detroit, agency: Wasserman) added 18 points in the effort for Hapoel Jerusalem. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Maccabi T-A have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-3 record. Hapoel Jerusalem at the other side dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
