An interesting game for Okapi Aalst (11-8) which hosted in Aalst 4th placed Kangoeroes (7-8). Second ranked Okapi Aalst had an easy win 88-67. It was a good game for Montenegrin point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-90) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 assists. Montenegrin Ivan Maras (207-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Okapi Aalst players scored in double figures. American center Trevor Thompson (213-94, college: Ohio St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import Marvin Clark (201-94, college: St.John's, agency: Slash Sports) added 14 points in the effort for Kangoeroes. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Okapi Aalst maintains second place with 11-8 record having just one point less than leader Belfius Mons. Loser Kangoeroes keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Okapi Aalst will face league's second-placed Antwerp Giants on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
