The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Albino's (8-17) road loss to ninth ranked Sarcedo (9-13) 46-55 on Saturday. Guard Silvia Viviani (165-1) stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Croatian center Jovana Mandic (192-92, college: Nicholls St.) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. Power forward Alice Carrara (186-97) responded with 12 points and 5 rebounds and forward Patrizia De Gianni (190-88) scored 6 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sarcedo maintains ninth place in A2 with 9-13 record. Loser Albino keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Sarcedo will face Carugate (#13) in Corugate in the next round. Albino will play at home against San Martino and hope to win that game.
