Regular Season Round 25: Mataro Parc - Maristes A. 73-65

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Mataro Parc (3-8) beat at home 5th ranked Maristes A. (4-7) 73-65 on Saturday. Naturalized Andorra center Cinto Gabriel (200-87) stepped up and scored 28 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners and point guard Oscar Heras (181-99) chipped in 12 points. At the losing side guard Marti Fonolla (193-96, college: Midland) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and forward Marc Hermoso (193-99) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mataro Parc maintains seventh place in Group C5 with 3-8 record. Maristes A. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
