Very expected game when 9th ranked Roma Luiss (8-8) were crushed at home by third ranked Nardo (15-4) 84-59 on Saturday. Nardo outrebounded Roma Luiss 43-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Center Riccardo Bartolozzi (200-95) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Riccardo Coviello (195-88, agency: SLN) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Nardo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Francesco Infante (204-92) with 10 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Marco Pasqualin (178-97) scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nardo have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Livorno Libertas. Loser Roma Luiss keep the ninth place with eight games lost.
