The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Daimiel's (7-11) road victory over 8th ranked Tobarra (1-16) 81-65 on Saturday. Point guard Sergio Hervas (184-92) stepped up and scored 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward David Garcia (200-99) chipped in 23 points and 10 rebounds. Four Daimiel players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Miguel Raez (200-79) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and center Pedro Romera (210-88) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. Daimiel moved-up to sixth place in Group B-B. Loser Tobarra keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. Daimiel will face higher ranked Boadilla (#5) in Boadilla del Monte in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tobarra will play at home against Lanzarote and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
