We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (7-15) beat 10th ranked Bnei Hasharon (7-16) in Hod Hasharon 99-89. Hapoel Tel-Aviv players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was a great evening for international guard Yam Madar (190-0, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. The former international guard Bar Timor (190-92, agency: Avi Zilberman) helped adding 18 points and 8 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the losing side American forward Coty Clarke (201-92, college: Arkansas) responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import guard Max Heidegger (191-97, college: UCSB) scored 22 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hapoel Tel-Aviv moved-up to tenth place. Bnei Hasharon lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against higher ranked Hapoel Holon (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bnei Hasharon will have a break next round.
