Top ranked Ironi Ashkelon (20-4) recorded its fourth loss at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were rolled over by tenth ranked Hasharon (12-14) 81-62. Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard JeQuan Lewis (186-94, college: VCU) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 9 assists. Forward Christian Cunningham (201-97, college: JSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Aaron Epps (208-96, college: LSU) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward AlLonzo Coleman (207-89, college: Presbyterian) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hasharon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain tenth position with 12-14 record. Ironi Ashkelon at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost. Hasharon are looking forward to face Hasharon (#11) in Hod Hasharon in the next round. Ironi Ashkelon will play on the road against H.Galilee (#3) in Kazrin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
