Regular Season Round 22: Gravelines - Orleans 64-77

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (8-12) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (8-10) 77-64. Entente Orleans 45 players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Nigerian forward Chima Moneke (198-95, college: UC Davis) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and American point guard Paris Lee (183-95, college: Illinois St.) supported him with 12 points and 9 assists. Four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: MSU) did not help to save the game for Gravelines-Dunkerque. His fellow American import point guard Briante Weber (188-92, college: VCU) added 15 points and 6 assists for lost side. Entente Orleans 45 moved-up to eleventh place. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Entente Orleans 45's next round opponent will be higher ranked JL Bourg (#4) at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Chalon/Saor (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
