Very important is a road loss of third ranked Vigevano (14-6) against fourth ranked Bernareggio (14-6) on Wednesday night. Visiting Vigevano was crushed by Bernareggio in Bernareggio 106-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vigevano. Bernareggio dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Vigevano's 32. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Bernareggio players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Vigevano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Stefano Laudoni (197-89) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Belarusian Kiryl Tsetserukou (201-1) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Bernareggio players scored in double figures. Swingman Maurizio Tassone (196-90) came up with 18 points and 4 assists and point guard Andrea Mazzucchelli (188-94, agency: SLN) added 15 points respectively for Vigevano in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bernareggio moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Vigevano. Bernareggio's next round opponent will be Olginate (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Vigevano will play against Palermo (#16) and hope to win that game.
