Regular Season Round 23: Bourg - Chalon 88-85

Sixteenth-ranked Chalon/Saor (8-14) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked JL Bourg (14-8). JL Bourg managed to secure only three-point victory 88-85. However their fans expected much easier game. JL Bourg made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Danilo Andjusic (194-91) who scored 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (191-94, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. JL Bourg's coach Savo Vucevic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. British forward Myles Hesson (198-90) produced 22 points and American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-90, college: BGSU) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory JL Bourg went down to fifth position due to points difference. Chalon/Saor lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 14 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be Le Portel (#10) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Chalon/Saor will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#7) and hope to win that game.
