Regular Season Round 26: Xiria - PBB 61-65

There was a small surprise in Carballo where seventh ranked PBB (7-7) defeated 5th ranked Xiria (7-8) 65-61 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Victor Alonso (196-94) who scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Lucas Vaquero (185-89) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Ruben Rey (198-93) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Argentinian point guard Bruno Pallotti (182-98) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. PBB moved-up to fifth place in Group A-C. Loser Xiria dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. PBB will face Betanzos (#7) at home in the next round. Xiria will play against Obradoiro S. in Santiago de Comp and hope to win that game.
