Regular Season Round 30: Firenze - Cagliari V 76-43

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Cagliari V (0-22) was rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Firenze (12-13) 76-43 on Saturday. Firenze forced 24 Cagliari V turnovers and outrebounded them 52-32 including a 24-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Silvia Rossini (172-94) who scored 26 points. Center Anna Poggio (-1) chipped in 6 points and 15 rebounds. Firenze's coach Stefano Corsini felt very confident using entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Federica Brunetti (185-88, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and Greek power forward Parthena Chrysanthidou (180-99) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively.
