Vicenza dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Jesi's 20. Guard Stefano Cernivani (185-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Dominican guard Shaquille Hidalgo (188-94) contributed with 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners.
