We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Lanzarote (4-15) defeated on the road 8th ranked Tobarra (1-17) 63-56 on Saturday. They outrebounded Tobarra 46-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. Tobarra was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Paulo Rodriguez (201-0) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Trinidad and Tobago center Chike Augustine (206-92, college: Martin Methodist) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Lanzarote's coach Ivan Fernandez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
