The game in Reykjavik was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Skallagrimur (8-9) played at the court of 7th ranked KR (2-15). Skallagrimur managed to secure a 8-point victory 88-80. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KR won fourth quarter 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American guard Keira Robinson (176-94, college: VCU) who led her team to a victory scoring 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (made all of her eight free throws). Serbian-Hungarian swingman Sanja Orozovic (186-90) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Finnish forward Annika Holopainen (185-93, college: ODU) responded with 30 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Taryn McCutcheon (165, college: Michigan St.) scored 23 points and 6 assists. Skallagrimur maintains fifth place with 8-9 record. KR lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Snaefell. Skallagrimur will play against league's leader Valur in Reykjavik in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KR will play on the road against Snaefell (#8) in Stykkisholmur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
