There was an upset when higher ranked Chorale de Roanne (9-13) lost on the road to fourteenth ranked Cholet Basket (8-12) 83-72 on Tuesday. Cholet Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: UConn) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. Slovenian Gregor Hrovat (196-94) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Sylvain Francisco (180-97) answered with 15 points and 7 assists and American forward Jamel Artis (201-93, college: Pittsburgh) added 17 points in the effort for Chorale de Roanne. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cholet Basket moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Chorale de Roanne dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Cholet Basket will face league's leader JDA Dijon on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
