There was no surprise when Scafati was defeated at home by Torino 70-57 on Wednesday. Torino dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Scafati's 18. They outrebounded Scafati 42-26 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-95) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals. Torino's coach Demis Cavina used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Riccardo Rossato (190-96, agency: Players Group) produced 21 points and American power forward Charles Thomas (202-86, college: Arkansas) added 10 points respectively for the hosts.
