Regular Season Round 24: Dijon - Cholet 89-81

Jeep ELITE ProA top team - JDA Dijon (18-4) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Cholet Basket (8-13) 89-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cholet Basket. Worth to mention a quality performance of Abdoulaye Loum (209-91) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and American point guard David Holston (173-86, college: Chicago St.) who added 15 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Slovenian Gregor Hrovat (196-94) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American power forward Chris Horton (202-94, college: Austin Peay, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JDA Dijon have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-4 record. Cholet Basket at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Nanterre. JDA Dijon are looking forward to face Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cholet Basket will play against Gravelines-Dunkerque (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
