Regular Season Round 27: PBB - Betanzos 82-68

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked PBB (8-7) won against 7th ranked Betanzos (7-10) in Porrino 82-68 on Saturday. PBB forced 21 Betanzos turnovers. Strangely Betanzos outrebounded PBB 48-24 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Colombian Ivan Losada (185-96) who led his team to a victory with 24 points. Jorge Cabaleiro (192-96) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Senegalese center Khadim Fall (205-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Mali center Souleymane Traore (210-2) added 9 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Betanzos. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. PBB maintains fifth place in Group A-C with 8-7 record. Loser Betanzos dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
