Regular Season Round 18: Residence - Telstar 103-62

Total League top team - Residence (15-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Telstar (0-18) in Bereldange 103-62. They outrebounded Telstar 55-33 including a 41-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Residence shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. It was a good game for American forward Adam Eberhard (203-97, college: Bellarmine, agency: GoEmpire Group) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Malcolm Kreps (195-1) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Residence players scored in double figures. Residence's coach Alex Kreps felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Gilles Kerschen (194-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and guard Pol Goebel (187-96) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Telstar. Residence have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Residence maintains first position with 15-3 record. Telstar at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings. Residence are looking forward to face Heffingen (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Telstar will play against the league's second-placed Etzella (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
