The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Tindastoll's (9-12) road loss to sixth ranked Grindavik (11-10) 83-93. The game was mostly controlled by Grindavik. Croatian-American guard Nikolas Tomsick (185-91, college: Fort Lewis) answered with 23 points and 9 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Slovenian forward Jaka Brodnik (203-92) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Tindastoll. The victory was the third consecutive win for Grindavik. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KR and Valur. Tindastoll lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. Grindavik's next round opponent will be Valur (#6) in Reykjavik. Tindastoll will play at home against Stjarnan and hope to win that game.
