M.Rishon outrebounded Ironi Nahariya 46-26 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Ironi Nahariya's players. Panamanian-American forward Akil Mitchell (206-92, college: Virginia) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-86, college: GMU) supported him with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by American forward Jaron Blossomgame (199-93, college: Clemson) did not help to save the game for Ironi Nahariya. His fellow American import guard Malik Newman (191-97, college: Kansas) added 17 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the hosts. Four M.Rishon and five Ironi Nahariya players scored in double figures. M.Rishon will have a break next round. Ironi Nahariya will play on the road against Maccabi Haifa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
