Very important is a road loss of third ranked Chania (9-5) against fourth ranked Giannena (9-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Chania was defeated by Giannena in Giannena 78-60. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Giannena looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Randi Brown (170-96, college: New Orleans) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 assists for the winners and her fellow American import forward Marte Grays (188-96, college: DePaul) chipped in 15 points and 13 rebounds. Christina Theodorou (182-97) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Manto Psichogiou (171-89) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
