There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Cremona (14-8) smashed at home 5th ranked Crema (14-8) 92-62 on Wednesday. Cremona dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Crema's 24. They outrebounded Crema 42-25 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Marco Bona (189-89) fired 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Jacopo Mercante (197-90) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Cremona's coach Simone Lottici felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Gian Marco Drocker (186-1) produced 15 points and 4 assists and swingman Pietro Del Sorbo (191-85) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
