Bipa Odessa upset Lutsk on the road to advance into Higher League Finals. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-65. 26 personal fouls committed by Lutsk Univ. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Joshua Patton (203, college: Sacramento St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Olexiy Solovyov (187-97) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Volodymyr Kotsko (190-97) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and forward Sergiy Yurchenko (202-87) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
