Rather expected game when 6th ranked Chieti (2-8) was smashed at home by fourth ranked Treviglio (6-4) 83-55 on Sunday. Treviglio outrebounded Chieti 44-32 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for point guard Simone Pepe (184-93, agency: SLN) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Slovenian forward Mitja Nikolic (200-91) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Treviglio players scored in double figures. Treviglio's coach Devis Cagnardi felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lithuanian forward Paulius Sorokas (202-92, agency: Players Group) replied with 26 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Alessandro Piazza (175-87) added 2 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Chieti. Treviglio moved-up to second place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Chieti keeps the sixth position with eight games lost.
