Second Stage Round 6: Scafati - Udine 86-80
Date: May 16, 2021
There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Scafati (4-6) beat at home one of their biggest challengers Udine (4-6) 86-80 on Sunday. It was a good game for Maltese-American Darryl Jackson (190-85, college: WPU, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 21 points. Naturalized Argentinian guard Bernardo Musso (193-86, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American center Nana Foulland (208-95, college: Bucknell) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Andrea Amato (190-94) added 13 points and 7 assists in the effort for Udine. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Udine's coach Matteo Boniciolli let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Scafati have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Udine.
