Bottom-ranked Ironi Nahariya (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to top-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (3-0) 96-74. Hapoel Tel-Aviv dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Ironi Nahariya's 30. They outrebounded Ironi Nahariya 52-27 including a 41-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hapoel Tel-Aviv players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Justin Tillman (203-96, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. Cameroonian-American forward JP Tokoto (198-93, college: UNC) contributed with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Coach Ioannis Kastritis's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. American forward Jaron Blossomgame (199-93, college: Clemson) replied with 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and point guard Ziv Ben-Zvi (188-92) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Ironi Nahariya. Hapoel Tel-Aviv have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Ironi Nahariya at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's next round opponent will be M.Rishon (#4) in Rishon Le-Zion.
