The game in Hod Hasharon was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked H.Beer Sheva (2-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Bnei Hasharon (1-3). H.Beer Sheva defeated Bnei Hasharon 92-81 on Saturday. H.Beer Sheva forced 19 Bnei Hasharon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Bnei Hasharon's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 assists and American-German guard Travis Warech (193-91, college: Ithaca) who added 18 points during the contest. H.Beer Sheva's coach Rami Hadar used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side American guard Max Heidegger (191-97, college: UCSB) responded with 20 points and point guard Yair Kravits (193-99) scored 18 points. Five H.Beer Sheva and four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. H.Beer Sheva moved-up to third place, which they share with M.Rishon. Newly promoted Bnei Hasharon keeps the fifth position with three games lost. H.Beer Sheva will face Maccabi Haifa (#6) at home in the next round.
