Dnipro earned the third straight win in the quarterfinal series and eliminated Budivelnyk. The game was mostly controlled by Dnipro. Budivelnyk managed to win fourth quarter 26-24. Dnipro's coach Denys Zhuravlov felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Brice Johnson (206-94, college: UNC) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Steven Burtt (189-84, college: Iona) added 14 points, 10 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Budivelnyk. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
