There was no surprise in Kavalaa where 15th ranked Enosi Kavalas (1-12) was crushed by third ranked Olympiacos B (11-2) 87-61. Olympiacos B made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Olympiacos B outrebounded Enosi Kavalas 41-23 including 31 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Olympiacos B brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for point guard Apollonas Tsochlas (189-83) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 11 assists. Center Petros Melissaratos (205-93, agency: Network Sports International) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Olympiacos B players scored in double figures. Point guard Konstantinos Abatzas (188-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 assists and guard Vassilis Patras (195-97) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Enosi Kavalas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiacos B have a solid three-game winning streak.
