Samsun rallied past Mamak in the opener. Samsun made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Mamak helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Ahmet Cantitiz (193-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. American guard Kahlil Dukes (183-95, college: Niagara, agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 23 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Samsun players scored in double figures. Forward Mustafa Gorur (204-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: RMU) added 16 points and 6 assists in the effort for Mamak. Mamak's coach Murat Dikmen tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
