The most interesting game of round 7 was a home defeat of their biggest opponent Hapoel Tel-Aviv (4-2) by first ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (5-1) who outscored them by 24 points 113-89 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Ironi Nes-Ziona made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for American Wayne Selden (196-94, college: Kansas) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Colombian guard Braian Angola-Rodas (198-94, college: FSU, agency: Wasserman) helped adding 25 points and 5 rebounds. Five Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Yam Madar (190-0, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 27 points and 6 assists and Cameroonian-American forward JP Tokoto (198-93, college: UNC) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ironi Nes-Ziona maintains first place with 5-1 record. Hapoel Tel-Aviv at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with H.Beer Sheva.
