Very important is a home loss of third ranked M.Rishon (3-2) against fourth ranked H.Beer Sheva (4-2) on Saturday night. Host M.Rishon was defeated by H.Beer Sheva in a tough game in Rishon Le-Zion 83-87. H.Beer Sheva looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Hungarian forward Amit Suss (200-99) fired 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Panamanian-American forward Akil Mitchell (206-92, college: Virginia) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and international Golan Gutt (195-94) added 24 points respectively for lost side. H.Beer Sheva moved-up to second place, which they share with H.Tel-Aviv. Loser M.Rishon dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with H.Holon.
