Cluj Napoca defeated Oradea to surge ahead in the championship series. Cluj Napoca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Croatian center Andrija Stipanovic (208-86, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Lithuanian forward Donatas Tarolis (207-94) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Catalin Baciu (214-88, college: Clemson) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Aaron Broussard (196-90, college: Seattle) added 10 points in the effort for Oradea. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
