Regular Season Round 37: Gravelines - Monaco 74-91

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (11-21) was defeated at home by third ranked Monaco (23-7) 91-74. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: MSU) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 assists. American point guard Rob Gray (185-94, college: Houston) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American point guard Corey Davis (186-97, college: Houston) answered with 19 points and 5 assists and Slovenian guard Aleksej Nikolic (191-95) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Gravelines-Dunkerque. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 23-7 record having 2 victories less than leader Dijon. Gravelines-Dunkerque at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with 21 games lost. They share it with Roanne. Monaco will play against bottom-ranked Boulazac Basket (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against the league's second-placed ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
