Not a big story in a game when 18th ranked Boulazac Basket (3-29) lost on the road to third ranked Monaco (24-7) 76-69 on Saturday. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International center Mathias Lessort (205-95, agency: BeoBasket) notched 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Senegalese Ibrahima Fall-Faye (207-97) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even 23 points and 6 assists by point guard Benjamin Sene (188-94) did not help to save the game for Boulazac Basket. Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (206-90, college: Villanova) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains third position with 24-7 record having 2 victories less than leader Dijon. Boulazac Basket lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games.
