Rather expected game when 14th ranked Cholet Basket (11-21) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (15-18) 73-62 on Saturday. Pau-Lacq-Orthez outrebounded Cholet Basket 43-30 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Petr Cornelie (211-95) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 25 rebounds to lead the effort and American point guard Justin Bibbins (178-96, college: Utah) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Chris Horton (202-94, college: Austin Peay, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Cholet Basket. His fellow American import point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) added 5 points and 8 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pau-Lacq-Orthez have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain eleventh position with 15-18 record.
